| Two CSX trains congregate at the former Seaboard Air Line yard in Cayce, South Carolina in 2013. A train conductor prepares to walk ahead of his train to throw a switch to get off of the track his train is on.
His train is lead by CSXT #2721, an EMD GP38-2 built
as Penn Central (PC) #8053 in 1973. CSX acquired her for Conrail in that railroad's split between them and Norfolk Southern.
Meanwhile, CSXT #7853 is a General Electric C40-8W that was built in 1993. |
