Not too far out of Russell, worn YN2 AC44 #351 brings M653-31 east across the James River at Snowden headed towards Lynchburg. This was a busy day on the James River, especially for a Sunday. A B407 was running on approaches behind these guys, and two empty trains were between Lynchburg and here.
