NJT 731 completes its westbound shuttle run from Summit at Gladstone Train Station. On some weekends, the Runaround Track (in the foreground) is occupied by equipment, but on this weekend, the track is clear, allowing for this photo angle. Up until about 20 years prior, the Runaround Track was regularly used on weekends to allow eastbound and westbound trains to pass via hand-thrown switching. Since that time, the run-around track has been used exclusively for equipment storage purposes only. On the hind end is NJTR 1343 (Arrow III EMU).
