Remarks & Notes
“Yellow Crayon Over the Quinnipiac”

On May 27th, 2025, Amtrak's Crayola-wrapped ACS-64 #620, leads Regional Train 170 over the Quinnipiac River Railroad Bridge in New Haven, Connecticut on the Shore Line section of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. The NYNH&H RR Cedar Hill Yard coal tower can be seen poking just above the tree line in the background.

620 is one of two locomotives wrapped in special Crayola schemes as part of a partnership to promote family travel and creative exploration. This unit features the color Dandelion, a golden yellow and one of the fan-favorite crayon colors brought back from retirement, and stars crayon character "Dan D," the Crayola Ambassador of Creativity.
