Remarks & Notes
Cutting Off a Broken Arm: A NJ Transit crew saws off a broken pantograph arm on ALP-46 #4624, which had been pushing Northeast Corridor Line train no. 3861. The trailing pantograph on the unit broke as the train approached Metuchen station. Fortunately for the passengers and crew, the train had enough momentum to reach the station after the pantograph broke.
