CN 5483 coasts downgrade near Woodbine, IA along what was once Illinois Central, then Chicago Central and Pacific railroad. The line only hosts what amounts to a local freight. For a brief period when UP was (again) double-tracking the former C&NW line through here, UP used CC&P as a relief second main as it generally parallels UP from Dennison, IA to Council Bluffs.
