| Kansas City Public Service.
San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI) PCC car 1057 is seen stopped for a break on the Embarcadero. The car is painted in a livery worn by cars of the Kansas City Public Service Co. prior to the cessation of the city's streetcar services in 1957. The car was originally built for the Philadelphia Transportation Co. in 1948 and has been restored/rebuilt twice since being acquired by Muni in 1992. |
