| A BNSF grainer ambles north through the Palouse on its way to home rails at Marshall and thence to one of the Columbia River ports for export. These rails belong to the State of Washington and are currently operated by the Spokane, Spangle & Palouse; in the background you'll notice the concrete arch bridge that once flung the Milwaukee Road over this former NP branch. |
