Soo Line 730 leads a Lake States train thru Pewaukee, WI in April of 1987. The train is approaching Duplainville on the original Soo Line. Lake States was a short lived (2/86 to 10/87) division of the Soo Line that was eventually sold to the Wisconsin Central. Lake States, like neighbor FRVR, was known for its use of vintage power that had been in use for decades.
