Northbound Tri Rail commuter train P644 shoves north alongside the Stub Canal as it nears the station in West Palm Beach, Florida with an on time arrival. Powering the train is one of the railroad's unique GP49PH-3 locomotives, which were built as GP39X's for the Southern Railway, rebuilt by EMD as GP49's under Norfolk Southern ownership, and then rebuilt again by Tri Rail to add head end power capability for commuter train service.
