Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, has the only tram network in the country with a length of 280 kilometers. Twoaxle streetcar # 83, built in 1934 by MAN and Siemens in Germany and withdrawn in 1976, was restored and serves as tourist information point in front of the central market hall. Note the letter slot on the outside of the vehicle, a specialty of the Sofia streetcars.
