On March 31st, 2025, Metro-North's 40th Anniversary "Penn Central" heritage-wrapped P32AC-DM, MNCW 217, leads train 943 under the historic Valhalla Railroad Bridge in North Castle, New York. Completed in 1925 as the final original bridge built for the Bronx River Parkway, the ornamented, masonry-faced concrete girder structure once carried both directions of traffic over the New York Central Railroad Harlem Line and still bears a plaque commemorating the parkway’s completion. Today, it carries only the northbound lanes.
