UP SD70ACe 8552 may head west to Arizona and beyond, or it could head north to the northern part of California … the division point is just on the other side of the bridge on which I am standing.
BNSF ES44DC 7727 and train H-WCLBAR1-20, however, will, as with all other BNSF trains departing here, head to Barstow, where its cars will be broken up and assigned to new trains heading east … or, as with UP, perhaps north. (Colton, California – April 21, 2018)
