The annual traditions of the Kentucky Derby: Rain and Passenger Trains. The 2025 version of CSX's Kentucky Derby train clears through Paynes Depot, just outside of Midway, as it heads west down the former L&N Old Road Subdivision, now operated on by RJ Corman, as it heads west towards Louisville and the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby
