First Hadley Arrival. Alco RS3s Run To Hadley For The Maple Festival. The Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway (SCH) continues its annual tradition of service to the Hadley-Luzerne Maple Festival in 2025. This year for the first time, the train was led by a pair of Alco RS3s, former Delaware & Hudson Railway 4103 and 4118, with Alco 5 on the south end. The pair of Alco RS3s arrived on the property in the summer of 2024, and have become a mainstay of the fleet. The Maple Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2025, is a well-attended local event, and the SCH operates three round trips from Corinth to allow people to park off-site as well as have the opportunity to see the railroad. There was also a midday extra to Harris Road, giving attendees an opportunity to try the train and make a shorter round-trip.
