| The Final Spike Anniversary Steam Tour made its way from Bensenville to Davenport on a wet May 9th. The poor weather did not slow down the amount of foam that chased the train across the D&I. I took back roads out of Adeline to avoid the 100-car procession that was following the train west of Adeline; it was unreal! I saw this tractor on the way east, and Caleb said, "Let's do it going west." The combo made for a nice change of pace as the steamer slowed for the grade at Adeline. |
