With the official takeover date of March 1, 2025, I have been out trying to shoot the Iowa Northern as the CN makes changes to the railroad. Job changes came first in March, and now power changes have started in April. Even the use of 6 axles to the CIC in Cedar Rapids began in April, something that has never been done. I have tried to document history, as things will never be the same again. The Manly to Butler job slows for the permanent 10 mph slow through Greene. The job is decent size today with alot of grain out of Manly along with some mixed freight. Once to Butler, this train will run through to Waterloo on BUWA and this crew will flip back on BUMA for Manly.
