| 1116 # 210 of the ÖBB pulls the Eurocity 431 "Transalpin" from Zürich to Graz, diverted via the Allgäu instead of the Arlberg line because of engineering work, between Winterthur Tössmühle and Winterthur. The train, original number EC 163, with cars of the ÖBB and the SBB ran from Zürich via Kloten-Winterthur-St.Gallen nonstop to St.Margrethen, then via Bregenz-Munich (without stop) to Salzburg-Bischofshofen-Selzthal-Bruck/Mur to Graz. The journey time was 2 1/4 hours more then the direct route via Buchs-Arlberg-Innsbruck. |
