Idling between runs. Photo by Dave Petke. From my collection. These humpback whales had a sorta Alco-esqe look but they were like many earlier GEs, unloved by the owners. Wouldn't this brute look great with a high hood? How about a model railroad powered by "mighthavebeens". SD30s MU'd w/ GP24s, arr. arr arr!
