| After toiling away for decades as a drab subsidiary the IHB has blossomed, with a plethora of interesting paint schemes. They are still doing much the same tasks as in years past, serving heavy industry in the transportation hub of the nation. Here a unit of LV>CR>NS heritage is moving auto racks. My favorites are the “bottle trains”, with glow and heat of liquid iron inside the cars. Sure wish I could see one of those massive 0-8-0s they once had. |
