New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R42 car 4791 leads an A train up onto the Liberty Avenue Line at Rockaway Boulevard Station as it makes the R42's penultimate revenue service trip, from Far Rockaway-Mott Av to Inwood-207th St. The cars were built from 1969-1970 by the St. Louis Car Co., and were operating a special "Farewell to the R42" service as the last day of revenue service for the fleet. |
