On the evening of December 21st, 2024, Metro-North Railroad's "Holiday Lights Train" (running on 8744) heads south down the Hudson Line in Yonkers, New York, leaving Glenwood station and the former New York Central Power Plant behind in the distance. The Holiday Lights Train is a specially decorated, 8-car Kawasaki M8 consist operating on all electrified portions of the Harlem, New Haven, and Hudson Lines throughout the remainder of the holiday season.
