What You Can See From ‘The Snow Clipper’. The Danbury Railway Museum's Christmas Fundraiser began on Saturday, November 30th and runs every Saturday and Sunday through December 22nd. Afterward riding the train, attendees can walk through the railyard with a cup of hot chocolate. For this annual (this year almost sold-out) event, museum volunteers decorated many of the pieces of rolling stock on display in the rail yard, including a former New Haven Railroad FL-9 that operated in revenue service on the Danbury Line, a steam engine, and passenger and freight cars.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
Photos of North America's favorite First Generation locomotives. EMD, ALCO, Baldwin; essentially anything that represents the OG wide cab diesel locomotive
A recent spike in a personal interest of the skill and work it takes to create and ultimately nail a shot in the dark using flash technology, leads to this album.
