Remarks & Notes |
Wasting no time racing up the track speed of 70 MPH, the hot LA to New York UPS train charges down the 1.5% grade of Ash Hill at Bagdad. Seven locomotives are on the headend of this high priority train. Six of the seven locomotives are actually run while one of them is there incase one of the other motors shuts down. With 92 UPS "vans" on this train, it is under a tight schedule to get it across the BNSF system to meet the company's Peak Season deadline. |
