| Night falls while I patiently wait at the Eastbound control signal at Berne. As the sky begins to clear and the stars start to pop out I finally see the signals light up and begin to hear the sounds of a single ES44 climbing the 2.2% grade. BNSF J-NEWINB enteres East Berne on a proceed prepared to stop indication because the Cascade Tunnel is not yet done with its “flush”. I was close to giving up after waiting for hours and getting sketched out being in the woods so far from my car alone. But it was worth the wait and my headlamp was clutch I would strongly recommend for night photography. |
