| The lash-up of the Tri-Rail geeps is still out roaming the corridor as seen here. The units were switched around however because of an engine fault on the 816. You'd think they would just take it off the train right?.. Nope! The 815 is seen here leading a southbound train through Boca with 816 dead in tow. TRCX 815 was built in 1980 for the Southern Railroad as GP39X 4603 before being rebuilt to GP49 standards by Norfolk Southern. The unit was rebuild once again as a GP49H-3 after she was sold to Tri-Rail in 2006 becoming TRCX 815. |
