Remarks & Notes

At this point in Mataporquera, the Bilbao-La Robla Line (metric gauge) and the Santander-Palencia Line (Iberian gauge) coincide. Sometimes you can see two trains circulating simultaneously, like in this photo where we see the Bilbao-León Regional in the foreground and the Santander-Valladolid Regional on the right. .
