L516 made quick work of a small one car pick up at New Richmond, tucking it in behind the power (normally they pick up on the rear of the train). This put them out at Cylon when the sun set, the sky punctuated with scattered spring rain clouds. Until summer it's uncommon for this train to operate in daylight east of New Richmond on the Minneapolis Sub.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
