Bushwick Branch Service.
GMTX GP38 no.s 2204, 2127, and NYA SW1001 no. 101 are seen as New York & Atlantic train RS-40, running around loaded and empty refuse cars on the LIRR Bushwick Branch. Built in 1868, both passenger and freight trains served the line until passenger service was suspended in 1924. Freight service on the branch - as well as all other LIRR freight operations - have been leased to New York & Atlantic since 1997.
