Back in 2014, like many EMD's the CSX SD50's were slowly on a decline but still common to see through Selkirk with one engineer mentioning though powerful they were a rough & loud ride for road trains.
On a mild early fall afternoon over 9 years ago, the K250 empty "Dirty Dirt Train" that ran to Fort Edward, NY by CP via the Port Sub & up the D&H with keeping the same power hauled contaminated dirt from the Hudson River back out west gets tied down on Track 2 by the conductor at Cobble Stone Rd. in Guilderland, NY where it would sit for several hours.
Unknown now but this could've been caused by the crew out-lawing or Selkirk Yard couldn't take the train due to many trains running almost a decade ago.
