Remarks & Notes
With around 3 feet of snowfall overnight, the southbound Amtrak Vermonter was the first train operating over the New England Central Palmer Subdivision on Sunday, March 24. Led by Phase II Heritage P42DC, 130, the stretch between White River Jct., VT and Charlestown, NH, promised to offer some snow moving. Following a crossing, the snow that was above the rail head was being displaced by the southbound Vermonter!
