Remarks & Notes
Lancaster and Chester (LC) 2866 is a former Southern Railway EMD GP38AC built in 1971. Upon that railroad's merger with the Norfolk & Western, it became Norfolk Southern (NS) 2866. It was then sold to Gulf & Ohio Railways where it worked for a number of railroads including the Wiregrass Central and the Chattahoochee & Gulf. When these railroads were sold to the Genesee & Wyoming, the 2866 was sent to the Lancaster and Chester Railroad. Here she leads LC 12 through some switching moves in Richburg.
