| A MAC is Back: After about 7 years of sitting in a storage line in Cumberland, Maryland, CSXT 4706 returns! Starting in the early 2020s, CSX began plans to rebuild select stored SD70MACs units like this one to operational status. This engine returned to service in late 2023. Behind the leader is CSXT 3208 (ES44AC-H). |
