Two new repaints power a Canadian Pacific hot shot westbound through Pewaukee, Wisconsin, at 2:30 p.m. on April 17 1993. One EMD SD40-2 each from CP and Soo Line show off the new paint scheme informally known as “Dueling Flags” of the CP Rail System. I used to call the CPs with this scheme as ‘C colon P’ (C:P) because of their nose headlight bridging the initials. It’s even more annoying in italic! I’m glad they didn’t get very far with these repaints.
