Winter weather has finally arrived in earnest in Wisconsin. Snow and wind started to impact central and southern Wisconsin yesterday. The added difficulty of railroading in the snow has delayed the normal operation of L517 by several hours. The delays provide for some daylight running over the Minneapolis Sub where the train normally passes before sunrise.
