Duong Sat Viet Nam (DSVN - Vietnam Railways) CKD built D12E 630 passes along one of the railway streets in Ha Noi whilst on the rear of LP2 0610 Hai Phong - Ha Noi on 6th November 2023. The narrowness of the railway street can clearly be seen. Trains from Hai Phong often attach a loco on the rear at Gia Lam as there is insufficient time to turn the inbound loco, if it is a single cab loco. These 1200hp locos were seen hauling 17 coaches on Hai Phong services, quite a load for a small loco.
