The conductor for CN L516 protects the backup move as the power for his train backs down the siding at New Richmond. Snow flakes fly in the light of his lantern. The snowfall wouldn't amount to much and soon L516 would be back on its way with the addition of two SD70M-2s that arrived earlier on an extra 357 auto train.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
