Remarks & Notes
While moving some vehicles of the "Team Erstfeld - Bahnhistorischer Verein am Gotthard" in the evening, the BDe 4/4 #1646 with a saloon car SR could be photographed. As the overhead line in the depot is switched off due to the ongoing depot renovation, the saloon car was needed to be able to pull out the rear vehicles. Tem II #277, currently the only operational overhead line-independent vehicle, is visible in the track on the far left. Its diesel engine only has around 80 hp and is therefore too weak to move the heavier vehicles. This is why the BDe 4/4 had to be pulled out with it and all the shunting manoeuvres had to be done with the more powerful BDe 4/4.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
