NS 9637 leads an eastbound manifest into Spruce Creek valley east of Tyrone, PA. "Forge" Block Station once stood to the north of the tracks here, at a point where the narrow three track section of railroad through Spruce Creek valley again widened - to five tracks. The signal bridge visible about ten cars back was one of the last to disappear with the removal of intermediate signals on this route.
