Remarks & Notes

Autumn was in full splendor in mid-October on the mountain as westbound hoppers pass MG interlocking between Altoona and Gallitzin. NS 6327 was a recent rebuild from a CR SD50 and used as part of the helper pool - here coupled ahead of the road power. MG Block Station had been closed by now and the windows covered as the structure just housed signal equipment at the time. A shame this really unique structure could not have been saved.
