| SSP's entire roster—a pair of conventional GP39Ms and the ex-Kennecott Copper high-cabs—descend the grade down into the Palouse River valley. This is the longest train I've seen on this part of the line in a looonnng time: twenty-some-odd empty hoppers for the elevators in Palouse and a centerbeam loaded with fresh ties for track rehab. |
