A Harbor transfer heads towards UP's Yard Center Yard on the southside of Dalton on the UP Villa Grove Sub. Here the job crosses all the way over from the IHB connection track to the yard lead at I016/144th Street. Cool to see a few old code line poles still in around here.

Photos showing the railroad pole lines. The pole line used four basic electrical circuits - telegraph, telephone, signaling, and power. Modern technologies of fiber optics, microwave, radio, satellite, and computers have been replacing the pole lines.
