Speeding To The Finish. In 2020, I wrote: While PCC-II 2324 was going at a good clip when it crossed 31 Street on Girard Avenue while operating on the Route 15 on the evening of Friday, January 24, 2020, it wasn't going quite that fast. A "tilt-pan" blurs the background while keeping the subject in focus. SEPTA has announced that this is the last day for trolleys and it will operate buses on the Route 15 until further notice. Revisiting this pic in 2023, perhaps it should be re-titled "Speeding To The Start" as SEPTA has announced the restart of trolley car service on the Route 15 line will commence on Sunday, September 10, 2023.
