| Believe it or not, this photo was not taken when the SD40-2 ruled the mountain. It was years later when this incredible chance to see a pair of them (including this Conrail SD40-2R rebuild) shoving on the end of a manifest train.
We actually chased it all the way from Johnstown to Altoona because we knew how rare it was. It might've actually been the last time. |
