| Two unique locomotives meet at CP Harvey In Blue Island. BP2 has the right-of-way as it crosses the CSX Chicago Heights Sub with the famed GP40P-2 leading a regular GP40-2. The CSX 911 with M642 waits to get across in the background. CSX 911 is CSX’s honoring first responders locomotive. And then 4010 was one of three GP40P-2’s built for Southern Pacific passenger service. It served as a commuter unit out of San Francisco as SP 3197 in the 70’s. The last two former SP GP40P’s remain on Union Pacific’s roster today. |
