| Re 420 # 340 (Re 4/4 II # 11340) of the SBB pull the freight train 49556 from Oberaach via Romanshorn VL-Muolen-St.Gallen-Winterthur-Kloten-Regensdorf-Bözberg to Basel (-Germany), between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle. The load are 3 StadlerRail built new tri-mode multiple units class 756 for the KeolisAmey Transport for Wales Rail Services in the United Kingdom. They can operate under 25000 V 50 Hz AC overhead wire and with battery. The battery can be loaded from the overhead wire or from a diesel motor. The 4 car trains have a capacity of 388 persons (seated and standing) and a maximum velocity of 121 km/h (75 mph). Here we see the vehicles 756 # 105, # 107 # and # 106 of the class 756/1, from which 17 units will be built. |
