Canadian Pacific's schedule of it's Searsport local G13 has been quite a bit later recently, with much if not all of the Bangor Sub under a 10mph limit. Trains have been rolling South through locations at times when Northbounds used to be the norm. While it makes a long day for crews, it provides photographers chances to get pics in situations not normally available during the average day. After nearly a week straight of rainy weather, June 8th, 2023 found a sucker hole of sun just as G13 reached the old Thornton's pit in Prospect, Maine. The whole train was able to fit on the shelf around the site in filtered light, but the sun would soon fade away again for more showers.
