Somewhat unusual at this late date is Amtrak GE P40DC No. 816 leading the California Zephyr. The train has just arrived after its long trip from the west coast at Chicago Union Station on May 17, 2023. On the right is Amtrak Siemens SC-44 Charger IDTX No. 4608 powering a midwest regional train.
