The southern throat trackage of Chicago Union Station can get busy as two long-distance Amtrak trains meet, and an inbound Metra commuter train is about to disappear into the dark depths of the station on April 17, 2009. On the back of the eastbound Amtrak is Rail Ventures’ private car “Bella Vista”.
