April 1 was no joke. With the 4404 bouncing back & forth on the "LM/ML", it would take a great deal of luck to find them...or so I thought. The previous day, the ML got to Laurel at sunrise and it looked like the LM would run out behind the Bozeman turn overnight....BUT...a "utility job" came out of Laurel midmorning to clean up the yard in Livingston with the LM power and they didn't get back until well after dark...thought how nice it would be to see the LM sitting at the depot in Livingston the following morning waiting for helpers. Just have to dream it into action. WELL....it happened. Just like that. With weather on the Livingston side much different than that to the west, a full day chase became the thing to do. Here, the LM is being worked by a yard crew while the road crew gets ready for the trip.
